Animatic

The progression from the steal-o-matic to the animatic was extremely difficult, because it forced us to narrow down our ideas down using our storyboard  as a group and be specific as to the content of our music video. As you can see from our steal-o-matic, we had a very large number of inspirations for our ideas; but obviously it would be unreasonable to even consider including all of them.

From the animatic, you can see that we have opted for a theme of "fire and ice" to run throughout the video, which we believe to be a metaphor for the volatility of her past relationships, showing this through literal and metaphorical means.

While we still wish to keep the narrative as loose as possible, we understand the need for them all to be linked; in our video the connection is the facade covering the relationship, showing it to be something it really isn't. With the narrative, this facade slowly begins to fade away with us as an audience seeing the her past relationship for what it really is, an idealism.
